Robert Meeropol, younger son of Ethel and Julius Rosenberg, delivers âThe Eulogy I Was Unable to Give.â In light of recent revelations, Robert Meeropol addresses his parentsâ lives and motivations, as well as what the government did, the implications of which are critical for us all today. The Memorial was chaired by Vice President, Jolie Pataki. A special message from President, David Alman, who is unable to attend, put forward the demand for "Redress in the Rosenberg Case.â Jeanne Mirer, President of the International Association of Democratic Lawyers, spoke on the relevance of the Rosenberg Case to the current spate of post-911 âTerroristâ cases. Karen Taylor with keyboard accompanist rendered a musical tribute to the memory of Ethel and Julius Rosenberg. Readings of the Rosenberg Death House Letters narrated by Angela Davis and the late Howard Zinnwere screened at a 2007 performance to âCelebrate the Children of Resistance.â (not on this audio)
