In the short time span of 12 minutes, downtown Goderich was torn apart by an F3 level Tornado. No real warning, but in the 2 minutes it hit the town in a 500 meter path, most of the town and businesses were gone.
There is an immediate need for cash donations to help people with the basics, personal items, and most importantly to re-build the historic town that was known as Ontario's' prettiest town.
If you want to help the Government will match each donation 2:1. Please send your cheques made out to Goderich Disaster Relief Fund and send to â Goderich Disaster Relief Fund 57 West St Goderich Ontario N7A 2K5
note; this ends October 28th and is by and large for the re-build of Historic Buildings.
For more information; call 1-519-524-4969
Most important is the St Vincent de Paul, who is taking care of those who have lost the most and need even the basics. St. Vincent de Paul 441 MacEwen St Box #382 Goderich Ontario N7A 4C6 1-519-524-1087
