Several new and new/old contributors in this one! REV. NOREL PREF is back online! - and cranking out astounders galore again. I unexpectedly heard from our old friend Rev. Levitty, who sent a slick mock commercial for "PeEmptin." Rev. Chain Smerker has been sending collages all the way from Oz. The first NEW recordings from Hellpope Huey in almost 600 years are on this show. Thanks to Nu-Monet for the SHATNER hit!
Then there was the Detroit Devival on March 19, 2005. Of the five bands there, three were new to me and KICKED ASS! The live recordings of the bands are so-so but I nabbed some studio recordings from their websites. Stylex and The LSDudes both blew my mind, or my half of the brain cell anyway, and I would heartily recommend looking into their Cds and videos. The LSDudes have particularly inspiring videos available. Most of their show in Detroit featured elaborate video projections.
Much of this show was recorded live with Lonesome Cowboy Dave and Princess Wei in the WCSB studio with me (Stang).
