This program was recorded in August of 2000. Today, with a new board of Supervisors, the San Francisco Commission and a small band of activists have convinced three supervisors to sponsor the ban. The SF Green Party is also in support. Please see http://www.liberationradio.net/fur.html
for a complete update on this historic measure. SF would be the first city in the country to ban the sale of fur and this is the germination of the campaign.
