From CHINA- Two stories about the military tension between the Koreas, with China attempting to arrange a meeting with members of the six-party talks. Russian President Medvedev has warned that the failure of the US and Russia to reach a deal on missile defense will lead to an arms race. Venezuela is experiencing the worst floods on 40 years. Iran is accusing Israel and the West of the murder of two of its nuclear scientists. From GERMANY- An analysis of the state of the Euro following the European Union bailing out Ireland's economy. From NETHERLANDS- In Italy, students protesting educational cuts have brought major cities to a virtual standstill. A review of the impact on database security caused by the Wikileaks release of diplomatic documents- future releases will cover banking and the pharmaceutical industries. From CUBA- Bradley Manning who leaked military documents to Wikileaks is facing increased demonization in the US. The government of Ecuador is inviting Wikileaks founder Julian Assange to visit and give details of US spying in Latin America. A lawsuit against British Petroleum has been filed in Ecuador for violating the rights of nature. Amnesty International and 18 other aid organizations are demanding that Israel unconditionally lift the blockade on Gaza. From RUSSIA- South Korea and the US will hold yet another military exercise in the Yellow Sea before the end of the year. Students in London and other cities in the UK clashed with police on Tuesday for the third time in three weeks to protest skyrocketing educational fees.
