Frank Zappa would have turned 70 this month. His music and his stand on free speech and against censorship resonates today as our society debates the cultural rules governing language, journalism, and state secrets. This 30 minute program is a personal tribute to Zappa; the producers acknowledge the influence he had on their lives down through the decades. THICKLY SETTLED is a weekly radio program about civilization and citizenship produced by I.B.I.S. Radio and broadcast on WMBR, Cambridge.
