Your support is essential if the service is to continue, there are bandwidth bills to pay every month and failing disk drives to replace. Volunteers do the work, but disk drives and bandwidth are not free. We encourage you to contribute financially, even a dollar helps. Click here to donate.

David Newby returned recently from a visit to Colombia set up by the Colombia Support Network. He tells the story of the courageous struggle of the village of Marmato against Gran Colombia Gold, the Canadian mining corporation that plans a massive strip mine that would destroy the village and the livelihood of most of its families.

The program was held at the Capitol Lakes Health Center Auditorium in Madison.
Recorded by Dan Cornwell, The Madison Institute
