Episode 52: E+RO=3's Beautiful Nothingness
Your good folks at UNSEEN LEGION RADIO closed out our first year on the air in high style, hosting the multi-talented E+RO=3 for the EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE of his brand-new album, BEAUTIFUL NOTHINGNESS. But we couldn't just play a few songs and chit-chat. Oh no. This is ULr, yo. So E+RO gave us a LIVE BEAT SET of songs from the album! Wrrd! And of course we spent quite a bit of time in conversation as well. DJ EARL-E's crate this week had NO HIP-HOP in it at all, either, so there was a throwback, crate-digger/sampladelic feel to the evening right from the start. Not that there was no hip-hop in the offing. Earl-E & MC PROSE went to the Hip-Hop for Humanity event at the Originators store on Melrose that weekend and got goodie bags with lots of great new music, so we also debuted a track from fellow Inasoulbian NC ABRAM's new mixtape, HIGH INTENTIONS and played tracks from TENOCHTITLAN & the homie PAWZ ONE, who printed up custom versions of his new FACE THE FACTS album especially for the event. How cool is that? YESKI was in the building, choppin' it up, as well as F.E.M.A. KAMP homies DOLOW KIDD & CHAOTIC LOGIC. We even had LILY POWER, the female voice of ULr in the station for the first time.
