Live recording from a 7000 plus people's march for a gasfield free region held in the City of Lismore, New South Wales, Australia November 1st 2014
Come Together, The Beatles excerpt
A small regional town in northern New South Wales, Australia [ "City of Lismore" ] became subject to more than 7000 people marching against coal seam gas fracking for the entire region. People from all walks of life united and sucessfully achieved a stop to any further gas fracking activities in this region. Other parts of Australia have, and will suffer a toxic industry of unconventional gas exploration threatening ground water and soil pollution to the farming land and adjacent communities.
This extraordinary success of "people power" has been documented also on youtube under the heading of " Bentley Protests".
