UN delegation finds a peaceful country, NATO delegates peeved
Interview

Le Beni Tazira critiques the Samantha Power-led UN Security Council Delegation to Burundi as one as an embarrassment for her and a win for the Burundi government. Tazira describes Power as seeming to have an agenda born out of hate against Hutu, whom she seems to categorize as genocidaires.

The delegation was met by peaceful protestors with signs reading "No Genocide in Burundi," "Stop Interfering" and "Respect Our Security Forces."

President Nkurunziza asked the delegation the key question: Are you going to sanction Rwanda and stop the flow of weapons from Rwanda?
