Adel Iskandar is author of Al-Jazeera: The Story of the Network that is Rattling Governments and Redefining Modern Journalism (Westview Press, 2003), as well as co-editor (with Hakem Rustom) of the upcoming book Edward Said: Emancipation & Representation. A frequent commentator and speaker on Middle Eastern affairs and media coverage of conflict. Adel currently teaches international communications at the University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY.
